What sort of insurance do you provide?

We offer Comprehensive Insurance which covers you for loss or damage to your car as well as for damage you may cause to somebody else’s car or property for up to $30,000,000.

We also offer Third Party Property Damage Insurance, which protects you against claims for damage you may cause to another person’s car or property up to $30,000,000.

Do you insure drivers under the age of 25?

We only offer insurance to drivers 25 years of age or older.

What is an agreed value?

Your car’s agreed value is the most we will pay if your vehicle is damaged or stolen.

The agreed value is set by LSV at the commencement of your policy and is based on the make and model of your car as well as the accessories and modifications that are fitted to the car, which we have agreed to cover.

The current agreed value is shown on your policy schedule and does not change during the period of cover.

How do I make a claim?

If your car has been damaged, stolen or someone is claiming against you, please call us on 133 578 and let us take care of you and your car.

If your car has been stolen or maliciously damaged, it is important that you report the incident to the police immediately and obtain the report or event number.

Can I use my own repairer?

If we elect to repair your car, you may choose your own licensed repairer. It’s your car, your choice.

We will also guarantee the workmanship and materials on all repairs authorised by us for the life of the vehicle.

Can I get my car back if it is declared a write off?

If your car is 25 years old or more and we declare it a total loss, you may keep the salvage of your car at no extra cost to you.

For cars less than 25 years old, you may choose to purchase the salvage of your car at a fair and reasonable cost set by us.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa or MasterCard.

Learner drivers are covered under the policy so long as they drive under the instruction of a fully licensed driver alongside them.
